I am currently offering my services at a discounted rate as I am newer to the wedding scene and am working to build my reputation. However, I am no stranger to the event coordinating business. I spent a year as an event coordinator for an upscale hotel in Spokane, WA coordinating large conventions that ranged from 500 to 5000 guests a piece. I also coordinated smaller meetings and an occasional wedding for them as well.
After that, I was a recruitment coordinator for a sorority for 5 years. This involved extensive year-round training workshops and planning, as well as week of coordinating of vendors, decor, and of course attire, hair and makeup for 100 college age women.
I have also helped a handful of friends and my sister coordinate their weddings over the past couple years.
I made the leap from meetings and parties to weddings because I believe that a bride should be able to enjoy her wedding day. My job is to make sure that you are stress free so that you can relish every moment! I would take care of all of the details to make sure everything goes the way that you planned it!
I can offer the following services for you:
- Schedule an initial meeting to make sure this is a good fit
- Meet a week before the wedding to go over wedding day details and schedule
- Get final confirmation from all vendors and ensure they have the correct address, dates, and times
- Coordinate arrival of hair & make up artists, flowers, musicians, and photographer
- Coordinate bridesmaids, groomsmen, and ushers pre-ceremony
- Line up wedding party and cue their walk down the aisle
- Gather family and wedding party immediately after ceremony for photos
- Set up ceremony and reception area
- Ensure that everything is on schedule (cue music, dj, food, etc)
- Ensure that everything is according to your plan
- Diffuse any situations or last-minute emergencies
